Designed to focus on the patient, caregiver and visitor experience, this new patient tower changed the face of healthcare in its community.

Integrated seamlessly into the existing hospital and campus, the four-story, 120,000 SF Fish Memorial Patient Tower provides enhanced intensive and intermediate care nursing units and obstetric services previously unavailable in the community. The 28,000 SF mother and baby care unit includes 15 private mother/baby rooms, 6 labor, delivery, and recovery rooms, 2 dedicated ORs with associated prep/recovery rooms, and triage/testing facilities. The new tower increased the number of licensed beds from 175 to 225, allowing the hospital to fully privatize all patient rooms. A 12,000 SF ground-floor conference center provides flexible conference and training spaces with ample room for staff training, town hall meetings and community events. For added functionality, activities can expand to the terrace for more room and the benefits of an outdoor environment. The project to complete the new tower also included renovations to the existing hospital.

This was an amazing project to be a part of! The RLF team was such great partners in listening and incorporating what our team described as important, into something that is aesthetically beautiful and fully functional….something that isn’t always easy to do!
