At RLF, every member of our team is a reflection of our values and sustainability expertise. Over 45% of our professional staff is LEED Accredited. Our multi-discipline, in-house “Green Team” is a vital component in the development and research of new technologies and advancements in sustainable design. This core unit acts as a conduit for educational advancement firm-wide ensuring sustainable design practices are inherent to the design process of every RLF project.
The Total “Green” Solution
Our comprehensive and holistic approach connects the various components of a project to deliver a more complete, sustainable solution. Using building information modeling (BIM) analysis and simulation tools, we emphasize energy and sustainable strategies ranging from conservation measures such as site orientation, HVAC and lighting, to generation measures including solar energy, co-generation systems and environmental analysis, to deliver the most effective and sustainable solutions possible.
An Integrated, Multi-Discipline Team
One of RLF’s strengths when developing sustainable design strategies is the distinct advantage of having an integrated, in-house team of architects, planners, engineers and interior design professionals. We combine the expertise of our in-house architects, engineers and interior designers, along with contributions of specialized consultants, to craft “green” solutions as unique as the clients and projects themselves.
