Lake Highland Preparatory Rex Building

LOC:Orlando, FL | GSF:54,800 | SRVC: A/E/I

The Charles W. Rex building at Lake Highland Preparatory School is inspired by classic colonial architecture combining red brick, decorative columns, a domed rotunda, rooftop pergola and ornamental cupola to create a facility that reflects the school’s tradition and heritage. The building defines a new entrance for the K-12 campus and features an entrance “rotunda” that showcases the school’s academic excellence, history and tradition. The four-story facility houses administrative offices, science laboratories and math classrooms for the school’s upper class, as well as gathering spaces for community receptions and fundraisers.
