Located within a hilly desert setting, this medical / dental replacement clinic was designed to fit contextually within the site mimicking the color palette, terrain, and curved elements of its natural landscape. The facility uses passive solar control features, such as deep overhangs, recessed windows, and protected entrances for increased energy efficiency. The massing is generally low with a barrel vaulted roof dressed in complimentary colors to match the surrounding buildings and reflect the southwest desert motif characteristic of the area.
