Daytona State Palm Coast Campus

LOC: Palm Coast, FL | GSF: 150,000 / 40-acre | SRVC: A/E/I

The first phase of the forty-acre Palm Coast campus for Daytona State College develops 150,000 square feet of building program within an environmentally sensitive landscape. The design addresses the needs of students, faculty and the surrounding community providing learning spaces to support college preparatory, adult basic education, and general education for college credit, as well as specialty courses for the school’s nursing and science programs. Individual components tie together by a single internal loggia and connect with courtyards that allow for natural light, ventilation, and outdoor views. Facilities include teaching laboratories, computer labs, an academic support center, and state-of-the-art “smart” classrooms. The campus has become a popular public venue and frequently hosts community festivals, exhibits and conferences.
