Building information Modeling, otherwise known as BIM, has radically evolved the design process. This computerized, three-dimensional modeling software saves valuable time doing manual input and coordination allowing designers to do what they do best – design. By reducing the labor spent to document, detail and manually track program elements of the traditional “drawing process,” we are now able to exchange this labor allowing more time to develop, analyze and challenge program elements. This enhances the level of concepts, resulting in more dynamic solutions.

Recognized as one of the early adopters, RLF has leveraged this sophisticated technology across all disciplines – architecture, engineering and interior design – challenging traditional work flows for enhanced coordination and project delivery. Our commitment has led us to the forefront of the BIM industry evolution. Our BIM leaders are frequent presenters, published authors, and recognized professionals of Building Sciences buildingSmart Alliance, the National Institute of Building Sciences, AutoDesk University, EcoBuild, SMARTBIM, and AIA New Technologies / Alliances / Practices (NTAP), to name a few.
